FOR DEVELOPERS
Mould and weather data, one request away.
The same data platform behind this site's live conditions is a documented HTTPS API at data.moulddetect.ai: mould growth index, weather history and forecasts, river flood, air quality and site layers. History, flood and air quality cover Australia; forecasts are global. Every response carries its units and its sources.
THE ENDPOINTS
One key, one envelope, every endpoint.
Each row is a GET endpoint on data.moulddetect.ai. Every endpoint needs a key except /health.
| Endpoint | What it returns |
|---|---|
| /v1/mould-index | A daily 0 to 6 mould growth index from 3-hourly temperature and humidity: recent ERA5-Land history joined to the GFS forecast. |
| /v1/daily | Daily aggregates for any point: up to 7 past days, today and up to 7 forecast days. |
| /v1/now | One lightweight current reading plus today's high and low, built for polling clients. |
| /v1/history | Historical daily weather from the ERA5-Land reanalysis, including soil-moisture layers. |
| /v1/flood | River discharge forecast and flood severity from GloFAS, snapped to the nearest river cell. |
| /v1/air | CAMS air quality: seven pollutants three-hourly, up to 5 days ahead. |
| /v1/site | Static site layers: elevation, slope, aspect, wetness index, soil, land cover, distance to water. |
| /v1/hazard | Fire and tropical-cyclone hazard history near a point. |
| /v1/astro | Sun and moon times for any point. |
| /v1/specialists | A directory of Australian mould and building specialists by suburb or region. |
| /health | Liveness and data freshness; check it before you request history. |

A REAL REQUEST
Two days of air quality for Sydney.
Copy it, put your key in the variable, run it. The response names its model run and carries the Copernicus attribution you must show.
curl -s -H "x-api-key: $MOULD_DETECT_KEY" \
"https://data.moulddetect.ai/v1/air?latitude=-33.8688&longitude=151.2093&days=2"Keys are issued per account and sent in the x-api-key header. Errors share one JSON envelope on every endpoint. Ask /health for the latest complete history date before you request /v1/history.

BEHIND THE API
Where the numbers come from.
Sources on the left feed the data lake; the endpoints read from it. Filled phases of the Mould Atlas run today.
- Independent environmental feeds.LiveERA5-Land climate history, NOAA GFS forecasts, GloFAS river flood and CAMS air quality, collected for Australia today.
- Readings from inside buildings.PrototypeSensor boards post to the same lake on a sensor-agnostic schema: a new sensor adds a key, not a new pipeline.
- Scans, assessments and lab results.CollectingAI Vision scans, Mould Assessment reports and partner lab results become the labels the Atlas learns from.
- Phases 0 and 1 run today.LiveThe data lake, and a published VTT mould-growth model per location served as /v1/mould-index. It is driven by outdoor conditions and has not yet been validated against indoor damage.
- Phases 2 to 4 are the roadmap.RoadmapLearn the outdoor-to-indoor transfer by building type, train on verified outcomes, then predict risk by building type, postcode, climate zone and season.
Read the reference, then build.
